The Proteus-II and Proteus-III supports a custom high data throughput mode. Minimum requirement for Bluetooth Low Energy devices is to send one packet per connection interval. Nevertheless more and more devices are capable to send multiple packets per connection interval to increase the data throughput. This application note describes how to set up the high data throughput mode and how to test it in a module-to-module setup with Proteus. It presents measurements and test scenarios for throughput measurements done with the products.
