The Würth Elektronik corporate values are the focus of our attitude and influence our business activities. Mutual trust, reliability, honesty and straightforwardness, both inwards and outwards, are the fundamental principles deeply ingrained in the Würth Group’s corporate culture. Our commitment to these values was first laid down in the Corporate Philosophy which was written by Reinhold Würth in the 1970s.
These principles do not just include adhering to all applicable rules and laws, but also the proper mindset of the employees which constitutes an integral part of the sustained corporate success of the Würth Group.
We therefore expect our managers, employees and business partners to comply with national and international laws and regulations. In addition, we have committed ourselves to comply with certain standards, guidelines and norms as part of our catalogue of values.
We assign great importance to strict compliance with all applicable national and international rules and laws as well as to the preservation of our corporate values. In order to make this transparent to our employees as well as to our customers, suppliers and other business partners, we have created concrete rules of conduct based on our corporate values, which we have summarized once again in the Code of Compliance of the Würth Group.

Our guidelines also include the Code of Conduct of the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA), which we expressly commit ourselves to comply with.
The RBA Code of Conduct sets standards to create working conditions in the electronics industry supply chain that ensure that the supply chain is secure, that workers are treated with respect and dignity, and that business is conducted in an environmentally and ethically responsible manner. We are committed to compliance with the RBA Code of Conduct, as well as the UN Convention Against Corruption, Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the ILO Code of Practice on Safety and Health.

It is equally important to us to provide our customers with a value chain that is free from dubious backgrounds. For example, the use of conflict minerals is not an option for us. Furthermore Würth Elektronik warrants providing any information about especially hazardous materials in accordance to EU-REACH regulations.
In a globalized world where supply chains and business relationships are becoming increasingly complex, it is essential to take our responsibility to combat modern slavery and human trafficking seriously. We are strongly committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards in all our business areas and throughout our supply chain. This Modern Slavery Statement outlines the measures we have implemented to ensure that modern slavery is not tolerated in any form.
We firmly believe that respecting human rights is a fundamental requirement for sustainable and responsible business practices. For this reason, we implement comprehensive due diligence measures to identify and prevent potential human rights violations at an early stage. This includes the careful review and assessment of our suppliers and business partners, the regular conduct of risk analyses, and the establishment of reporting mechanisms. With this policy statement, we reaffirm our commitment to act responsibly and to make a positive contribution to the respect of human rights.
The protection of our customers, partners, employees as well as our values are our top priority. For this reason, it is important to be aware of any compliance violations in good time. Since we are looking for open communication with our customers, suppliers and employees, the so-called Reporting Hotline SpeakUp exists within the Würth Group. Investigations show that often information from third parties leads to the clarification of white-collar crime.
Thus, the Reporting Hotline SpeakUp enables you to give the Compliance Department information on criminal activities or serious violations of laws, our Code of Compliance or other guidelines. If you notice a violation, you can report it, even anonymously, and in any case in absolute confidence.
Thank you for your support!
