Dear cycling enthusiasts,

We hereby cancel WEBike 2024 once and for all. In sport, many people like to dream of a summer fairytale.
Unfortunately, we had to cancel our WEBike event scheduled for June 2, 2024 due to the extreme weather with high water and flooding. It was not possible to hold the event, our routes were flooded or dirty. Thunderstorms and fallen trees also made the start unfeasible. Everyone's safety comes first here.

In the meantime, we have checked whether there can still be a start in fall 2024. Due to several internal and external conditions, this is not possible: unfortunately, there will be no WEBike cycling event in the fall.

Nevertheless, there are still many positive things for us:
We had great ideas and helpers in the planning for this year and can use a large part of this for 2025. We have done the best we can to protect you. And your encouraging reactions and feedback after the cancellation as well as the immense interest in bike tours have motivated and inspired us a lot.

Cycle well through a beautiful summer. Have fun outdoors and on the road.
