Würth Elektronik iBE is a manufacturer of customized inductors, which are used in various automotive applications. We are part of the Würth Elektronik eiSos Group, the largest manufacturing unit within the Würth Group.
With decades of experience and great expertise in the automotive industry, we have been successfully certified according to the automotive standard IATF 16949 for many years and demonstrate our commitment to the environment through our additional certification according to DIN EN ISO 14001. Our product portfolio consists of customized air core inductors made of round or flat wire, bar core inductors, storage inductors, CMC inductors, transformers, as well as ferrite cores. The customized designs are 100% tailored to the requirements of our customers and the respective application.
Furthermore, we also offer services such as support during the design-in phase, an extensive environmental and test laboratory, various logistics systems (WebEDI, VMI, Konsi, Kanban) and much more. Our core business comprises customer-specific rod core inductors in SMT and THT design, which are developed exclusively according to customer specifications and manufactured by using already existing, mature and globally available production processes and technologies. We manufacture the rod core coils, respectively air core coils, from round or flat wires of copper enamel.

CMC chokes for high-voltage applications. Our components serve as energy buffer in electronic circuits or for interference suppression of common-mode interference.

Our customized transformers are designed and produced for use in various automotive electronics applications. We offer efficient small form factor solutions for inverters, battery management systems or on-board chargers, among others.
Based on innovative designs and a continuous expansion of vertical production integration, we are steadily expanding our portfolio of bobbin and toroidal wound products.
