M-12 Circular Connectors are sturdy, mechanically and environmentally resistant components fit for industrial and outdoor uses. Therefore, a sizable number of field bus protocols use them as electrical and mechanical interface between end-devices, as part of their physical layer (as per the OSI model formalism). In this Application Note we display multiple use cases for M12 A-coded circular connectors.
