This is the maximum current that can be used for this connector at any time for any duration. This current brings temperature rise through Joule effect. For specific applications (motor starters, capacitance discharge…), it is requested to use higher current than usually accepted by the connector but only for a short time. We propose a solution to answer to this problematic: what value for the current, its duration and how many times it is possible.
