Beschreibung

The LT®8630 is a current mode PWM step-down DC/DCconverter with internal synchronous switches that providecurrent for output loads up to 0.6A. The wide input rangeof 3V to 100V makes the LT8630 suitable for regulatingpowerfrom a wide varietyof sources, includingautomotiveand industrial systems and 36V to 72V telecom supplies.Variable frequency boundary mode switching maximizesefficiency across a wide rangeofinput voltages. LowrippleBurst Mode operation enables high efficiency operationdown to very low output currents while keeping the outputripple below 5mV. The soft-start feature controls the ramprate of the output voltage, eliminating input current surgeduring start-up, while also providing output tracking. Apower good flag signals when the output voltage is within±7.5% of the regulated output. Undervoltage lockout canbe programmed using the EN/UV pin. Shutdown modereduces the total quiescent current to < 5µA. The LT8630is available in a 20-lead TSSOP package with exposed padApplicat for low thermal resistance and high voltage lead spacing.
