Beschreibung
The EV-ADF41020EB1Z evaluation board allows users to evaluate the performance of the ADF41020 frequency synthesizerfor phase-locked loops (PLLs). Figure 1 shows the board, whichcontains the ADF41020 synthesizer, a 100 MHz TCXO, powersupplies, a USB interface, and an RF output. There is also an active loop filter and a 12 GHz VCO on board. The evaluationkit contains software that is compatible with Windows® XP andlater versions to allow easy programming of the synthesizer. The USB interface allows software programming of theADF41020 device. A USB cable is included with the board to allow software programmability.Full specifications on the ADF41020 are available in the product data sheet, which should be consulted in conjunction with thisuser guide when working with the evaluation board.
