EV5505E-L-00A Evaluation Board is designedto demonstrate the capabilities of MP5505E.MP5505E is designed to provide back-up powerin the event of a power loss. The internal inputcurrent-limit block with dv/dt control preventsinrush current during system start-up; the busvoltage start-up slew rate is programmable.MPS’ patented power back-up control circuitminimizes the storage capacitor requirement. Itpumps the input voltage to a higher storagevoltage and releases the energy over a hold-uptime to the system in the case of an inputoutage. The storage voltage and the releasevoltage are both programmable for differentsystem requirements
