The NB681A is a fully integrated, highfrequency synchronous rectified step-downswitch mode converter with 2-Bit VID,especially designed for IMVP8 applications-V1.0A, VCCIO, PRIMCORE, EDRAM andEOPIO, and other POLs(1.8V,2.5V,3.3V). Itoffers very compact solution to achieve 6Acontinuous output current and 7.5A peak outputcurrent over a wide input supply range.The NB681A operates at high efficiency over awide output current load rang based on MPSproprietary switching loss reduction tech andinternal Low Ron Power MOSFETsAdaptive Constant-On-Time (COT) controlmode provides fast transient response andeases loop stabilization. The DC auto tune loopprovides good load and line regulation.NB681A also provides a Low Power Mode forpower loss saving during the low power stateand Ultrasonic Mode to avoid audible noise.Full protection features include OC Limit, OVP,UVP and thermal shut down.The converter requires minimum number ofexternal components and is available in QFN 2x3packages.
