SSL212X family is highly integrated high voltage monolithic IC for driving LED lamps in half-bridge configurations. This family is especially designed for retrofit, high efficient LED lamps.The integrated RMS current control function will internally calculates the RMS current and changes the frequency (fosc) to ensure that the RMS current remains constant. In non-isolated, high voltage LED applications this will ensure a constant LED current. And the integrated protection features will safety the system when abnormal situation occurs like over current, over temperature, capacitive mode.It support half bridge convertor topology, and suitable for isolated and non-isolated, dimmable or non-dimmable LED retrofit lamps. The design gives an example of a 12w isolated, non-dimmable, high power factor and high efficient LED retrofit lamp using SSL2121B type.
