The NCV8851B Evaluation Board provides a convenientway to evaluate and integrate a complete high-efficiencysynchronous buck converter design. No additionalcomponents are required, other than dc supplies for the inputvoltage and enable pin. The board also can be connected toan external clock source to synchronize the switchingfrequency or for spread spectrum operation. The board isconfigured for a 5.0 V output with a 170 kHz switchingfrequency and a 4 A current limit, intended for applicationsrequiring over 3 A of current
