Beschreibung

The SC4524F is a constant frequency peak current-modestep-down switching regulator capable of producing 2Aoutput current from an input ranging from 3V to 18V. Theswitching frequency of the SC4524F is programmableup to 2MHz, allowing the use of small inductors andceramic capacitors for miniaturization, and high input/output conversion ratio. The SC4524F is suitable fornext generation XDSL modems, high-definition TVs andvarious point of load applications.Peak current-mode PWM control employed in theSC4524F achieves fast transient response with simple loopcompensation. Cycle-by-cycle current limiting and hiccupoverload protection reduces power dissipation duringoutput overload. Soft-start function reduces input startupcurrent and prevents the output from overshootingduring power-up.The SC4524F is available in SOIC-8 EDP package.
