a cloud based smart solar light emitting diode (LED) streetlightsolution that work on constant current mode using interleaved boost converter as a primary powerconverter. The input to interleaved boost converter is a 12V battery source which is charged by asolar panel. The battery charger is working on solar maximum power point tracking scheme usingmicrocontroller STM32F3. In absence of battery or low charge condition of the battery it automaticallyswitches to constant current AC-DC LED driver. The AC-DC LED driver is working on quasi-resonantmode (QR) based high power factor correction (PFC) using single stage single switch having constantcurrent control. The HVLED001A IC is used for driving the LED for AC-DC converter. The prototypeof this LED driver is experimentally verified, successfully manufactured and deployed atSTMicroelectronics campus using 30 number of existing poles in an area of 100x150 sq. meters. Theconversion efficiency of each stages is more than 90% individually with good power quality andrunning reliably. The streetlights are connected to each other by a 6LoWPAN mesh networkimplemented using commercially available Sub-GHz device called SPIRIT1 from STMicroelectronics.A gateway allows the ON, OFF and DIMMING either in local area network or from the cloud. Thisuser manual describes features of Smart Solar Streetlight. It can be controlled by via cloud using 2step dimming has been implemented in addition to light ON/OFF control as per user,automatic(day/night mode detection) or noise level. This board is suitable for solar streetlight andInternet of Things applications
