Beschreibung

The circuit represents a high-performance dataacquisition (DAQ) solution suitable for processing inputsignals (up to ±12 V) superimposed on large commonmodeoffsets (tested up to 155 Vp-p from dc toapproximately 15 kHz) relative to the ground potentialof the systems main power supply. Common-moderejection is achieved by generating an isolated powersupply to allow the analog signal chain to float with theinput common-mode signal. The analog signal chainconsists of a high-performance, 16-bit, 1-MSPS SARADC with an integrated analog front end (AFE) offeringhigh input impedance and a wide ±12-V input voltagerange. Relevant application areas include PLC analoginput modules with channel-to-channel isolation,automotive battery pack monitoring, power monitoringin ac motor drives, thermocouple measurements, andso forth.
