Beschreibung

The XC9402 is an offline controller for LED lighting that has power factor correction and uses the CRM (Critical Conduction Mode) control method. These ICs can be made to operate in a range from 85VAC to 270VAC.The input current can be synchronized with the input voltage (sine wave) to achieve a high power factor.

A peak current comparator, LED current estimator circuit, and ZVS comparator are incorporated into the IC, enabling an excellent LED current accuracy to be achieved. Operation by CRM control makes it possible to reduce power dissipation in the output diode.

VDD over-voltage protection, UVLO, over-current protection, thermal shutdown, and LED open/short protection are provided as protective functions.
