Beschreibung

This design guide of a 140W PD3.1 28V 5A AC-DC adaptor reference design board describes a 140W PFC+QR implementation with peak efficiency of greater than 94.5%, a power density of 28W/in3 using 2 Transphorm GaN TP65H150G4PS, TP65H150G4LSG (650 V SuperGaN FET) in TO-220 and PQFN88 with Transphorm’s latest SuperGaN® Gen IV technology. The adaptor uses MPS’s MP44018 PFC controller and MPX2002 integrated primary/secondary side flyback controllers with output voltage up to 28V/5A. This design shows high-power density and efficiency.
