Beschreibung

The XR77103 features three synchronous widesinput range high efficiency buck converters.Each converter is digitally programmablerequiring minimal external components thusproviding the smallest size solution possible.The converters can operate in 5V, 9V, and 12Vsystems and have integrated power switches.The output voltage of each converter can beadjusted by programming the values in theVOUT setting registers through I2C interface.The adjustable range is 0.8~6V with 50mVresolution. The output voltage also can be setexternally using an external resistor divider.Output sequence among the outputs, softstarttime and the peak inductor current limitare also set through I2C.The switching frequency of the converters caneither be set with I2C or can be synchronizedto an external clock connected to SYNC pin ifneeded. The switching regulators are designedto operate from 300kHz to 2.2MHz. Eachconverter operates in phase or out of phaseaccording to the value in the phase settingregister. This can minimize the input filterrequirements.XR77103 features a supervisor circuit thatmonitors each converter output. PGOOD pin isasserted once sequencing is done, all outputsare reported in regulation, and the reset timerexpires. The polarity of the signal is activehigh.XR77103 also features a light load pulseskipping mode (PSM). It is set through I2C.The PSM mode allows for a reduction on theinput power supplied to the system when thehost processor is in stand-by mode (lowactivity) mode.
