Texas Instruments TPS25821 | Demoboard PMP40270

Beschreibung

PMP40270 is a dual USB type-C DFPs reference design, as a cigar lighter adapter. It has a high effieicny DCDC converter LMS3635 inside, combined with a low cost USB type-C source controller TPS25821 for each port. Full voltage range of a 12V car battery, as well as the transistion voltage up to 42V, is supported for this design. Two output type-C ports can deliever 5V1.5A indepentenly. The legacy DCP charging protocol is also involved for both ports. With the high integration parts, a low cost solution can be achieved.
