The AP65502 is a 500kHz switching frequency external compensatedsynchronous DC/DC buck converter. It has integrated low RDSON highand low side MOSFETs.
The AP65502 enables continues load current of up to 5A withefficiency as high as 96%.
The AP65502 implements an automatic custom light load efficiencyimprovement algorithm.
The AP65502 features current mode control operation, which enablesfast transient response times and easy loop stabilization.
The AP65502 simplifies board layout and reduces spacerequirements with its high level of integration and minimal need forexternal components, making it ideal for distributed powerarchitectures.
The AP65502 is available in a standard Green SO-8EP package andis RoHS compliant.
Remarks:A 1μH to 10μH inductor with a DC current rating of at least 25% percent higher than the maximum load current is recommended for most applications.Refer page no.11
