Description

The EV171-J-00A Evaluation Board is designedto demonstrate the capabilities of MP171. TheMP171 is a primary-side constant voltageregulator providing accurate constant voltage(CV) regulation without Opto-coupler. Itsupports Buck, Buck-Boost, Boost and Flybacktopologies.The EV171-J-00A Evaluation Board is designedas Buck application. EV171-J-00A typicallydrives 5V/50mA load from 85VAC to265VAC, at60/50Hz.The EV171-J-00A has an excellent efficiencyand meets 2kV IEC61000-4-5 surge immunityand EN55022 conducted EMI requirements.MP171 features various protections, includingthermal shutdown (TSD), VCC under-voltagelockout (UVLO), over-load protection (OLP),short- circuit protection (SCP), and open loopprotection.MP171 is available in TSOT23-5 and SOIC8packages.
