The EV4033-K-00A Evaluation Board isdesigned to demonstrate the capabilities ofMP4033 with ripple suppressor. The MP4033 isa primary-side-control offline LED lightingcontroller which can achieve high power factorand accurate current for Triac dimmable LEDlighting application. Its adaptive dimmer typedetection and phase-cut-based dimming controlcan achieve good dimmer compatibility anddeep dimming range.It works in boundary conduction mode forreducing the MOSFET and Diode switchinglosses. The new ripple suppressor canobviously reduce the output current ripple andescape the flicker or shimmer happened indeep dimming situation with a little influence inefficiency.The EV4033-K-00A is typically designed fordriving a 10W Triac dimmable LED bulb with24VTYP, 420mA LED load from 198VAC to265VAC, 50Hz.The EV4033-K-00A has an excellent efficiencyand meets IEC61547 surge immunity,IEC61000-3-2 Class C harmonics andEN55015 conducted EMI requirements. It hasmulti-protection function as over-voltageprotection; winding short circuit protection;output short-circuit protection, cycle by cyclecurrent limit, etc.
