Description

The EV4570-F-01A is an evaluation board for theMP4570/MPQ4570, a frequency programmablestep-down switching converter with integratedinternal high-side and low side power MOSFETs.It can provide 3A continuous output current withpeak current control for excellent transientresponse and efficiency performance.The wide 4.5V to 55V input voltage rangeaccommodates a variety of step downapplications, including those applications inindustrial, PoE, automotive and printer with DChigh voltage bus.The valley current detection is used to avoidcurrent running way at over current protection.Also it has accurate and reliable over voltageprotection, and auto recovery thermal protection.In addition, the optional external soft start isavailable. Enable and power good indicationfunction can be used to power track easily. Inorder to increase the efficiency,MP4570/MPQ4570 will automatically scalingdown the switching frequency when load is light.Meanwhile, the low side MOSFET will be turnedoff to reduce driver loss when zero inductorcurrent is detected. Synchronous operationmode with integrated low side MOSFET ismuch helpful to reduce the conduction loss andalso beneficial to reduce external componentsspace and save the cost.The MP4570/MPQ4570 is available in a TSSOP-20 EP with exposed pad package.
