Description

The NB681 is a fully integrated high frequencysynchronous rectified step-down switch modeconverter with 2-Bit VID especially designed forV1.0A, VCCIO, PRIMCORE, EDRAM andEOPIO for IMVP8 applications. It offers verycompact solution to achieve 6A continuousoutput current and 7.5A peak output currentover a wide input supply range.The NB681 operates at high efficiency over awide output current load rang based on MPSproprietary switching loss reduction tech andinternal Low Ron Power MOSFETsAdaptive Constant-On-Time (COT) controlmode provides fast transient response andeases loop stabilization. The DC auto tune loopprovides good load and line regulation.NB681 also provides a Low Power Mode forpower loss saving during the low power stateand Ultrasonic Mode to avoid audible noise.Full protection features include OC Limit, OVP,UVP and thermal shut down.The converter requires minimum number ofexternal components and is available in QFN 2x3packages.
