The TPS63710 is an inverting step-down dc-dc converter generating a negative output voltage down to -5.5 V. It provides an output current up to 1 A, depending on the input-voltage to output-voltage ratio. Its filtered reference system gives low 1/f noise which is required in high performance telecommunication systems.The TPS63710EVM-811 evaluation module (EVM) facilitates the evaluation of the TPS63710 low noise, 1-A inverting buck converter. The EVM produces a -1.8-V output voltage at up to 1-A of output current from input voltages between 3.1 V and 14 V. The TPS63710 operates in forced PWM mode with a special low 1/f noise circuit to cleanly supply sensitive analog circuits, such as data converters.
