Description

Demonstration circuit 2237A is a 58VIN, 6A, CVCC StepDownμModule® Regulator featuring the LTM8064. Thedemo circuit is designed for a 5V output from an inputvoltage range of 7.5V to 58V. The output can source 7A(typical) or sink 9.1A (typical). The circuit can be operatedin either constant voltage mode or constant current mode.Two or more LTM8064s can be paralleled to share loadcurrent equally. In this configuration, a master part determinesthe output currents of the slave parts. The MODEpin of the master part should be floating and all MODEpins of slave parts should be grounded.When the output sinks current, the circuit maintainsits output voltage regulation by power conversion, notL, LT, LTC, LTM, Linear Technology, the Linear logo and μModule are registered trademarks ofLinear Technology Corporation. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners.power dissipation.
