Description

Maxim Integrated MAXREFDES178 Cube Camera Reference Design is based on the MAX78000 and MAX32666 microcontrollers and helps system designers accelerate AI at the Edge solutions through the proof-of-concept phase. The MAXREFDES178 features two MAX78000 AI Accelerated Microcontrollers, BLE5 wireless connectivity, a Li-Ion battery, color image sensor and digital microphone. A short 33-position flex cable connects the connectivity board and AI board. The MAX78000 is an Arm® Cortex® M4F Microcontroller with a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) accelerator unit. The unique energy-efficient architecture of the MAX78000 enables battery-powered AI for at the edge applications such as face identification and keyword spotting.
