Quasi-resonant Auxiliary Power Supply with 1700V SiC MOSFET Power converters used in industrial systems, as for instance photovoltaic (PV) inverters, uninterruptable power supplies (UPS) and industrial motor drives, need an auxiliary supply unit (AUX). Such unit provides the required power for system peripherals — i.e. Microprocessor, LCD display, sensors, fans, as well as for gate drivers inside the main power circuit.
