A SEPIC converter is used to charge a load capacitor (up to 15000uF) up to 400V/420V (selectable). The input voltage range is 15V +/-10% and the constant output charging current 80mA. The multiplied SEPIC topology has several advantages compared to Boost + charge pump mainly thanks to reduce peak and RMS currents in the multiplier of the SEPIC.
