The NCP1251 EVAL demo board is a universal input, off-line, 20 wattoutput, constant voltage power supply for powering E-meters or white goodsapplications. The output can be configured easily with a few component changes for12Vout or 5Vout. The switching topology is a discontinuous mode flyback converterutilizing the ON Semi NCP1251D controller with a small surface mount MOSFET. Thespecific default demo board has an output rating of 12 volts at 1.75 amps max. Info formodification and testing for a 5Vout board is below.
